The Destiny of Our Involvement in Iraq

As we all know, the Iraqi Army is well armed. They will achieve Peace through strategic containment of the enemy using their own means, as well as our Air Recon and Drone Weaponry support. Through collaborative mechanisms, the U.S. and Iraqi forces can achieve our joint military objectives of containment and resolution. I do not believe that giving more guns to the Iraqi people is going to lead to peace.

I do not want to leave the Iraqis defenseless, to be taken over by Iran. My plan is to help the Iraqis build Weapons Free Safe Zones, and, provide automated tactical support for the Iraqi government. These SafeZones can be totally voluntary, with state of the art threat detection defenses. Within them there can be Renewable Energy based Villages with Fresh water for Agriculture. In addition, we need to help the Iraqi's modernize their Oil Production and rebuild their utilities and infrastructure. These solutions to the Iraqi conflict are founded on solid principles of security and threat resolution.

The mere thought that giving people more guns in order to make peace, is mindless. The practice of arming Saddam Hussein's former Bathist police forces with weapons has only further enraged the enemies of peace in this region. Peace cannot be achieved by arming more people in an area that is riddled with age old sectarian violence.

Unlike the plan to build a tri-state government in Iraq, I don't want to force the Iraqi government to adopt any government devised by the U.S.. That can only lead to more hostility and sectarian violence. Separating people that once lived side by side in harmony makes no sense. We all have seen what the break up of Yugoslavia led to. That pattern is not the pathway to peace. It is only a new path to War.

I would offer the Iraqis a simple solution to their deeply troubled Nation. I propose that we assist the Iraqi's in building Weapons Free Safe Zones where they can prosper in Renewable Energy Villages far away from any threat of Terror. Outside many of the cities in Iraq are vast open areas of land where people can develop economies in harmony with the environment. Fresh water systems and agriculture can prosper within these Safe Zones that would span 30 miles in diameter. Villages can be constructed from Modular recycled housing materials. Electric vehicles can be powered by renewable energy systems like Wind and Solar. The refugees fleeing violence in the cities can live together peacefully as Iraqi citizens..not Shiites vs. Kurds vs Sunis, but rather as new citizens in a New Iraq!

I take the security of the Iraqi people very seriously, and would in no way want the Iraqi Government to be funded by more Military build up. I want to bring 100,000 Troops home within 6 Months of being in Office. I want to leave a force of 50,000 there to assist the Iraqi's in building Weapons Free Safe Zones for their future survival. Eventually, the Iraqis will manage their own security. Meanwhile, we will support the Iraqis with Automated Tactical Support from our Drone Weapons Systems. In addition, we will have our troops offer humanitarian support to the Iraqi people.

The best path to peace is prosperity. It is not my plan to neglect the one resource that can restore Iraq to a Nation of economic vitality. That is why we need to help the Iraqis modernize their Oil Production. I want all of Iraq to reap the profits of their Oil wealth equally in a Nation that is dedicated to Peace. I believe these times call for an original modern plan for Peace in this region. My plan offers fresh water to the Middle East. My Seawater Pipeline concept can revolutionize the way we are solving this conflict. Solving the basic necessities of Life are integral to resolving longstanding sectarian violence.

Thanks for reading this and understanding that my passion is for the safe resolve of the Iraqi War.
