Party qualifications for statewide ballot access:
Received at least 2% of the vote for governor or president in the last general election [43.2]
General ballot access for major party candidates:
Party submits names of candidates to the secretary of state by 5:00 pm 81 days before the general election [54.5]
General ballot access for minor party and independent candidates:
File: An Affidavit of Candidacy
File: a list of the names of the candidates for 7 presidential electors - 1 from each congressional district and 2 from the state at-large
File:a nomination document including the names of the candidates for president and vice president
Petition: 1,500 signatures in not less than 10 counties [45.1]
Or Convention (for minor parties only): Minimum attendance requirement is 250 eligible electors including at least 1 eligible elector from each of the 25 counties Filing period: between 99 and 81 days before the general election [44.4]

CAUCUS STATE: NO PRIMARY
Voter registration:
10 days before the primary or general election; however, registration applications submitted by mail and postmarked 15 or more days before the election are considered on time even if they are received after the deadline.
