Border Patrol of Drugs

We suggest a major rebuilding of our Border Patrol force. Putting two fences along the entire U.S. border will create a safety zone. Anyone who breeches the zone will be detected using lasers and video surveillance. We also suggest positioning troops at stations with observation towers every five miles along the border. Then, breeches of the border can be intercepted quickly. This protection zone will ensure that drug-runners and potential terrorists will not enter our country undetected. One of the problems with our current border policy is the potential for corruption. We will prevent this by periodically rotating troops that serve along the border to eliminate bribery. Many of the border States do not receive adequate funding to patrol their border. We support the action of groups like the Minutemen, to supplement Border Patrol Forces. This volunteer group provides valuable services at our borders.
