America has to change! We need to encourage a more balanced use of our resources. We need to be the "Conservation Nation." Instead of consumption as the basis for our free market economy, we should make conservation the prime motivation. We can show the world that we care about the economy and environment and want others to do the same. There is no doubt that we can lead the world in conservation. Conservation has a multiplier effect. Less resources are needed to perform the same functions. These saved financial resources and raw materials can ensure a naturally secure future for generations to come.
